I hold up a Heavy Harman Kardon AVR, digital cable box and a blue ray disc player and some small wireless receivers. It's very low profile but the electronics need to be perfectly level and balanced on the stand. You may want to use soemthing to hide the cords if you are not going through the back of teh bracket.

One of the screws came stripped
Leans to the right, so VCR is always crooked
Easy to install but doesn't look good with the right side noticeably lower than the left

Was lookign to hang a receiver above a TV in the alcove above the fireplace (I hate the configuration but like the townhome lot better :-) ). Have bought several items to serve this purpose adn have returned. This worked like a charm so far. Highly recommended

Sturdy design and durable look. It would be nice if it came with the black glass shelf top, but I guess the price would be higher.

best if used in larger room this is in my bedroom and I could have used something smaller however I have had good comments on how it looks

I purchased four of the mounts to save space and mount my dvd/vhs player, pioneer stereo receiver, 4dtv satelite receiver and cd player on the wall adj. the 50" plasma.
