I bought this AC to cool a small sailboat. Compared to a "marine AC" which is $1000 new, NO CONTEST!! The dimensions worked well for one of the companionway openings. If the air outside is 100 degrees, this unit wil blow about 80 degrees which helps out a lot. I use a portable 4KW generator or shore power.

I needed this ac real quick,the 100+ temps will be
back. This machine pumps out the coldest air. I
use a blanket now-it's summer! The left panel did
not clamp on the side like it's suppose. But there
doesn't seem to be any leakage from outside. works
like it should.

Unit is installed in a 10'X10' little house that is used as a hobby shop. Keeps it cool here in the Florida heat and humidity.

This air conditioner was for my son's bedroom. He hates loud fans and air conditioners. This one is so quiet and cools the room quickly. It was so easy to install I didn't even have to wait for my husband to get home to install it. I did it myself! I saw the same air conditioner at a store for $50 more than what I paid online. This is such a great product and a great price.

I recently bought this for an average sized bedroom. The BTU's are low so I would only use it for a room on the first floor. It's a little noisy so don't place it in the window closest to your bed. I would like the fan to be stronger and to have a guide on the bottom for easier window installation. These units are much cheaper than anything you would find at [...] and are decent enough for someone with a small room on a low budget.
