This kettle gets used throughout the day here. I LOVE that it shuts off automatically when the water reaches a full boil... a real plus with us old folks. And the plug-in is designed to allow easy unplugging -- very user friendly. Also it's very easy to keep clean and nice looking. I'm very happy with my purchase, wish I had bought one years ago.

I use this kettle every morning for my tea, it boils very quickly, a pleasant "ding" when it reaches a boil, and shut offs automatically. This kettle look sleek on the countertop, great product.

Nice design and quickly heats. Noisy, but thats good to remind me its still boiling. Shut off bell is rather low.

The 'hot pot' has certainly evolved since my days in college. This is a great tea kettle: quick to boil & easy to store. I particularly like the Breville plug. I sometimes worry that the constant plug/unplug of some appliances will weaken. Not with the Breville plug; it is sturdy. For seniors, this would be great if you suffer from arthritis.

Sturdy construction, handle is cool and soft, and kettle has no cord once removed from the base. Breville plugs are a big plus for older people with less grip, easy to remove from the recepticle.

Overall I can't complain. As people say, the handle is good, the thing looks nice, and it boils relatively quickly. the only con is it really doesn't hold much water. i keep having to refill it. my mom has a bosch (or something like it) at her house and it hold much more.

I use the kettle any time I want tea or boiled water for something. The kettle is good looking and quieter than others I have had. The pouring is precise, I have had others where water splashed at bit. My only possible negative comment is if you pick up the kettle from its base before it has automatically shut off, when you set it back on the base it will start to boil again. It will shut off automatically once it boils again.
