The stand can only hold a surround amp. a vcr, and a DVD. It is easy to assemble. The rear slot for cable entry is too narrow.One of the side wood panels came broken. I called support number and they sent another one right away.It is a low price stand, with average features.

I purchased this stand along with my 56" Samsung DLP. It looks absolutely gorgeous! It has a very appealing open design with glass shelving.

Some people have mentioned that their components don't properly fit into the stand...I have a pretty large cable box and I was afraid it would be sticking out but was pleased to see that it fits just right. On top of that, it has a clever design with open sides and a middle slot in the rear wall that easily accomodates all equipment wires and connections.

About the only suggestion I would make is that you have some time and a second set of hands to help you out while assembling. Assembly itself is pretty easy but sometimes holding the legs while trying to screw them into the shelves gets to be a juggling act. Then again, I was trying to put the stand together while watching a movie...might've been a little distracted.

Ordered the Samsung DLP stand for Samsung 56" DLP and Onkyo Home theatre. Stand was a bit tedious to setup and looked greated when I placed my DLP on it; however, I quickly found out that the Onkyo home theatre system I purchased didn't fit. The DVD player was 17" deep while the shelves were only 15", so I needed to return it. The stand is a good value for the cost, but make sure your other components fit.

This was easy to put together and it looks very good to go along with my Samsung 56inch Dlp and for the price excellent. The problems occur when you have multiple devices hooking up to your TV. In my example I have a receiver (Panasonic) which actually does not fit all the way in so much sure you check you dimensions, A Pure AV for power conditioning and protection, a Direct tv hd recever and an Xbox 360...it just is very cluttered in there...so if you have only a couple of components to put in here ok otherwise you may want to consider something else.

I found the instructions informative and easy to follow. The stand is modular, and can easily be adjusted to fit larger TVs. The shelf space is sufficient for a wide variety of components - Receiver, DVD, Cable Box, etc. The color and shape complement the Samsung DLP TVs perfectly. If you buy a Samsung DLP TVs, this is truly the only option for a stand.

I picked up this stand to go along with my Samsung HL-S6187W, and it matches the set perfectly. Of course, it was specifically designed to go with that set, so I would hope it would. Setup wasn't difficult. It does take a little while, but it is straight forward and you only need a screwdriver.

I have two issues with it:
- It is a little too shallow. My old LD player and my receiver are too deep to fit on the shelves. They're in there, but the front feet on both are barely on the glass shelves. I wish the glass were 6" deeper. It would also allow me not to shove everything so far against the back.
- Which brings me to the second point. The back is solid, except for the cable slot in the middle, which made wiring a bit of a pain. You have to pull things out, connect the wires, and then get them back in without bunching everything up. For wires running out the back to the set, that's not too bad. But it is more of a pain for the wires running between things - like the TiVo to the receiver, or the DVD to the receiver, etc.

However, overall I'm happy with it. Once everything is setup, you forget the hassles. And it does look damn good under the set.

We used this stand for our 60" Sony A2000 and it fit perfectly. It also adjusts for a 50" or 55" or 56" set. It is much better than the Sony stand as well as being a better bargain. [...]
