Frigidaire Front Load Washer - White Finish - FTF530E

This product seems to wash my clothes in half the time. I have been using it daily for three weeks and have not had any problems.

this washer is so much better than our last one! gets clothes very clean, is quiet, fits in our small space (with a stacked dryer), and has fast cycles.

We had flooding in our basement and were forced to buy new appliances -- a blessing in disguise because I just love this washing machine! Luckily, Abt was having their anniversary sale, and we purchased this unit at 12% off the already low price. Such a deal!I checked the "quiet" entry on the list of pros even though others here have noted that it's noisy. This is my first ever brand new washing machine and my first ever front loader. If this machine seems noisy to you, you haven't lived! Yeah, of course it makes noise when it's spinning to get the water out of the machine, but this IS a more quiet machine ... at least more quiet than I've ever owned. There are times I have to go downstairs to make certain it's still running because I can't hear it.The clothes come out clean ... as one would expect. Compared to what I remember from our old machine, they do seem to be dryer when the load is done. The only negative I can think of is that loads take longer in this machine than they did in our old: used to be ~30 minutes, and now it's more like 45.I love that it's an actual dial, not a digital touch screen. A friend at work has a brand new fancy-shmancy top-of-the-line front loader with a touch pad. She's had a technician out to her house on two occasions within two months of purchase to fix/replace the touch pad -- which means that her family of five has been without a washing machine for at least a week each time, sitting in the laundromat while a $1,500 piece of worthless metal is taking up space in their basement. Oy vey! Gotta love tried and true methods; i.e., embrace the dial![...]

The dial is the best thing. My last washer broke after a year and a half and because it was digital it was actually more cost effective to buy a new one. I was told dial is the way to go. Only $50 replacement to fix it if it ever goes bad.

Good product for the money. I use it at an apartment I rent out and of course renters are not gental with other's products. So far so good with this product. There should be follow up survy in about 4 years. Then we can really say what we think about this product.

Finally, a product that works well and is properly balanced - no jiggling or shifting.

This is the eighth unit I have purchased...all Fridigaire...all very satisfactory. I originally bought the stack units because they were the right size, etc., and had never had any Frigidair appliances but they have been great.

I love this washer!!! It gets my clothes cleaner than any top-loader I have ever had!!!! It cleans everything. I just did my son's sleeping bag!!! The spin cycle really removes the water, and my clothes wrinkle much less!! A real bargain for the money. I recommend it highly!!!

I used my first one built into my kitchen, will fit under a normal counter height(with top panel taken off). Holds the same amount as a Reg. top loader. But not as much as the new HUGE front loaders. Replaced it at 14 yrs old. In my Second house, 3rd washer now. I again put in Kitchen but as a stacking set up with the matching dryer in a laundry closet. (again you take the top panel off the washer) It does have a long Jet sounding spin now, but clothes come out VERY dry. The new model "rolls" them off the sides before you can open the door. As any front loading, have to have a balance of type of clothes. Not all "light" & one pair of jeans. The one jeans in One side will make it hard to balance at the spin. I like to use "at least" heavy in a load. A problem, don't try to rush & open in the spin, has a lock, that then can stay locked.

It's a standard front loader, but the spin cycle seems really, really loud to me. It sounds like a jet is about to takeoff from my condo. Although this might be similiar with other front loaders.

I went from a regular top loader to this washer. It cleaned my clothes better than any washer I'd ever had. It is relatively quiet and you can stuff it full due to not having the center agitator. We then moved to a new place with a regular top loading washer, and our clothes were not getting clean. We actually bought this washer again. I'm sure other front loaders are just as good, but no need to spend double the price. The water level adjusts automatically and it spins the clothes so dry that drying takes less time too.
