Have used Hoover Wind Tunnel upright vacuums for many years and feel their quality has deteriorated. After days of researching on the net and Consumers Reports I purchased this low cost model at a very good price point and am satisfied with its performance and looks and ease of use. Was easy to assemble.

Great vacuum, very good suction on carpet and doesn't blow around hair/debris on hardwoods like many vacuums do.

We have bought this model elsewhere twice because the cord got destroyed when we ran over it with the vacuum the first time. It's very loud. The attachment hose is too short. Our second one just stopped working and makes a burning smell that lingers for days. The bag is installed properly and the belt is fine. We can't figure it out. This is basically a disposable vacuum since you can replace it cheaply, but you probably will have to.

I enjoy using the Hoover Bagged Tempo Widepath upright vacuum cleaner. When turned on, because of the power, will move forward easily. Light weight and the design makes it easy to use on stairs. Great to vacuum throw rugs. I would purchase again.

Great product for price--Easy to assemble took less then 5 minutes. Works well..my cleaning lady was pleased..said it gets the job done well. I have both carpet/tile/and hardwood. No pets and no kids, so vacuum once every 2 weeks. For the price can't really go wrong..it had great reviews on consumer reports as well.

AMAZING suction, lightweight, functional. The only criticism I have is the flimsy-ness of the hose for attachment work. It works fine, but feels very thin and weak. I fully expect to replace the hose within a few months. However, I am so happy with all the other features of the vacuum, I will gladly do that. Overall, a great buy - especially if you don't plan to use the hose very often.
