It is exciting finally having extreme BTU's for high temperature cooking (searing, stir-fry) and a back burner that puts out only enough for the perfect simmer(white sauce, clarifying butter, melting chocolate). The high BTU burner actually sounds like a lit blow torch! Water boils faster than the microwave can do an equal amount. The double oven is awesomely useful as many of the meals I prepare for my large family require varying temperatures. I used to time things and switch around dishes, now they all happen at once. The heavy iron grates do not stain and tarnish as my other stove's porceline ones did. Porceline just looks bad after a while even when it is clean. Not these beauties, they will look great years from now! I never had the variety of ways to cook in my kitchen before now. I love my new stove!

The thing I really love about this oven is that I can roast/cook/keep warm, two different dishes at the same time but at different temps. I have found that the smaller of the two ovens doesn't brown evenly.
