I used to cook everything out on a wood fire. But forced to move, now in a mobil home. Can't have wood fires.

Great Indoor Grill

Previously we owned a very similar indoor grill, except that one part of the grill was a "warming surface." We loved it and when the teflon finish on that one wore off, we purchased another. It wasn't long before that finish wore off also. We tried to contact the manufacturer to purchase just the grill top, but never received a reply and therefore just threw it away and didn't replace it. We missed our grill and once again began searching the Internet....this is when we found the DeLonghi which from the photo and description were very similar to our other grill, except it had a larger grilling surface (had no warming side). Have been using it for a month now and LOVE it....lots of room for our food and easy to clean. The glass cover helps to keep the counter and my shirt front spatter free. We have our fingers crossed that the teflon surface will last longer than our old ones.

"George Foreman Grills Move Aside"

This grill is so easily to maintain - just wash and wipe. I must admit when I bought the grill, in the back of my mind was "Now that dinner is over, I am now a slave to the grill of getting the grease and stains out." WRONG! Just wash and wipe.

I love my new grill!!!!

I prefer to use my new DeLonghi grill instead of the broiler. It heats up fast, steak, chicken, pork chops and hambergers are cooked to perfection, taste great and a very easy clean up instead of the nasty broiler pan. Best deal in a good while.

Solid investment. We love it!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

The only way they could have made this grill better would be to have shaped the lid differently, with a verticle 1"- 1 1/2" edge or so near the edge of grill so grilling space doesn't flatten out. Grill surface and drip pan come out so easy making cleaning a snap. I spray mine with PAM before use and it cleans up under running water with kitchen brush. My son loved it also so he got one for his birthday! He can't "grill" in his apartment complex so this was great for him. It gives you the "grill" marks on your food too.

Unit has a large grilling space. Glass lid (cover)is a special feature and keeps heat in when grilling as well as keeping food warm prior to serving!

Great grill for Beginners. Remarkably easy to clean, just remember to line the tray with tin foil. The lid is quite shallow so line up fat patties in the center.

Best indoor grill ever!

This is our 2nd DeLonghi grill and we absolutely love it! We do not have an outdoor grill so we do all the grilling on this one; meats, poultry, fish, vegetables...this grill cooks them all nicely! The grill heats up quickly, distributes the heat evenly over the grilling area, and has lots of surface space. The DeLonghi grill is very durable and is the best indoor grill we have owned. The only downside is that it can be hard to clean, but we have yet to find an indoor grill that cleans up easily.

A bit disapointed

The two drawbacks I find with this product is that can't immerse the grilling part of the unit fully into water for cleaning. The only other is the glass top of the grill... does not fit securly and it is a bit shallow for thick and or high items on the grill. Otherwise I just LOVE the thought of being able to grill in my condo!!

We use this indoor grill almost every day! It's great. Make sure to spray grate (both sides) and cleanup can be done with a vegetable brush! Cooks evenly. Bottom tray catches grease and is also easy to clean up. I wish the top was domed higher with a larger handle and not a knob, but functionality fine. Would buy again, give as gift or recommend!

As stated we can grill indoors anytime. The grilled items remain juicy and delicious. You can sear meat and chicken and do vegetables. Easy to clean as well. A great product if you are looking for an indoor grill. There is also a low setting for keeping things warm.

simplicity (take it a part in a second), removable power cord (very helpfull for cleaning), lid as very important part for me (cooks faster because heat stays inside), extremly easy to clean (just rince with hot water), light weight (put it anywhere you want) and large size of the grill. Don't think that little heating element you see cannot produce the heat - on 5 you will burn your food ...

This is one of the few indoor table-top grills that has a glass cover. It is also reasonably priced. Temperatures are controlled by an automatic shut-off so that foods do not overcook outside and undercook inside.

I love gilling all types of food, especialy seafood on this indoor grill. It is quick and easy and clean up is simple. The only thing I haven't gotten used to yet is that there is no temperature settings displayed or how to tell when it reaches or reduces to a setting. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time.
