We bought this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old Kitchenaid that had a few problems. The Energy Star rebate was attractive and the machine looked good. It is a hit or miss proposition whether dishes will be clean or that the tub will drain fully. (It ALWAYS drains if the Rinse cycle is run again to get the water out.) As another reviewer said, glasses in the top rack have difficulty standing up. The holder for stemmed wine glasses is nice but regular glassware often falls over. Glasses in the corners of the top rack often have not been well washed but shorter items usually do better. The tops of tall items on the top rack do not get rinsed well so all glasses have detergent residue on the bottom. This is not the GE product quality I expected.

Glasses fall over in the top rack when the rack is pushed in. The top rack is 1/3 the size of the bottom rack. the top rack comes out of one of its rollers after 18 months of use. this dishwasher is far inferior to any kitchenaid I have ever owned. All food items have to be cleaned off thoroughly before using the dishwasher. Even peanut better left on knives will not wash.

Very well made dishwasher. Cleans dishes well and seems to be very quiet.
