  With Talking Caller ID¹, you don't have to get up to see who's calling-the phone will tell you. Panasonic cordless phones are the only cordless phones to incorporate true text-to-speech technology used in conjunction with your Caller ID service. There's no need for preprogramming or any fancy setup-as long as you have Caller ID service, just plug-and-play! • Put the Phone Down While You Talk
  Having a handset speakerphone may not seem like such a big deal-until you have to call an automated phone system.   This system randomly changes transmission frequency several times per second without causing cross-talk, enabling the use of multiple handsets. FHSS technology also enhances security due to the changing of frequencies.
• Talking Caller ID
  When a call comes in, the phone doesn't just let you see who is calling, it actually tells you who is calling. Using text-to-speech technology the caller's name is announced in between rings if name-and-number Caller ID information is available.
  
• Call Waiting Caller ID
  Can display the name and number of incoming callers, even if you're on another call.
• Navigator Key
  Lets you easily control the handset volume and ringer level, as well as the phone directory & dialer, Caller ID Memory and other advanced functions, where applicable.
• Phone Directory and Dialer Stations
  Up to 50 names and telephone numbers (30 on certain models) can be stored and quickly accessed for dialing using the phone's navigator key.
• Handset Locator
  To locate a misplaced handset, simply touch a button on the base unit and the handset will ring.
• Lighted Handset Keypad
  You don't have to fumble in the dark any more. Our lighted handset keypad allows for easy dialing in darkened rooms.
