I love this DVD player. Kids sit for hours on long road trips and enjoy movies. My wife and I are happy because we don't have to listen to the movie as the kids love the wireless headphones. The unit has parent controls at the front so you can switch it off when needed, without having to lean back too far.

No regrets in getting this DVD player for my 2007 Honda Odyssey van. My three kids were happy and the audio was superb. We use it to play xbox games for complete entertainment. Sound quality on the wireless headset was great. Remote control came in handy as well. A little distraction for the rearview mirror as it blocks almost 80% of my view of the traffic behind me.[$]

Awesome display in our Odyssey as it replaces the portable headrest mounted units that we were using. Had it professionally installed and wired into the back of our OEM radio and makes me wish I was back there watching the movies with the kids. If your van has a moon roof, this unit will impede your ability to use your review mirror when it is open, which is no big deal for us.

We had this unit for about a month and thus far we are please with it. I will give more comments as time goes on. This is a must with 3 children and traveling. Allows mom and dad to enjoy a trip without the fussing.
I had my installer tell me you are much better off buying aftermarket dvd players because sometimes the factory installs cheap units. I would agree because my last unit was not very good. It was in a Toyota Sienna(2004) and I had this put in my 2008 Sienna.

Really nice product. I'll guess it's better than OEM. Kids love it. Picture is crystal clear. Headphones work really well. Don't buy the install card. Had it professionally installed for $96.00. The installcard price is 200 bucks.
In my Honda Odyssey van the unit doesnt impede my rearview even with unit in play.

We got this DVD player for our two sons who get bored on long trips to the Grandparents. They love it, the picture is awesome. I love that there is controls on my side to turn it off so I don't have to crawl between the seats to see all the buttons. There is a remote which is great, but you have reach your arm all the way back so it can reach the signal on the front of the DVD player, not very convienent when driving. The professional that installed it for us was impressed by the metal mounting bracket and trim ring that was with the player. The other nice thing about this is you can still have your dome light (or not) if you wish. The only thing I would add to the package is a second set of headphones. Otherwise, a great player, we love it!

I was a little skeptical about buying an after-market overhead DVD player for our minivan, but this Alpine unit is great in every respect. It integrates nicely with the car stereo system and is extremely easy to use. Most importantly, the picture is very, very nice. Makes me want to go back there with the kids to watch DVDs. The unit is also very sturdy and does not rattle or squeek.
This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it if you are looking for an aftermarket DVD player.

awsome .ONLY thing is when u manually shut the unit down and stART THE VEHICLE THE NEXT MORNING THE UNIT COMES ON , ON ITS OWN .tHATS THE ONLY THING I DO NOT LIKE..only!!!!!!
