Whirlpool Super Capacity Gas Dryer, Model WGD5900SWH

This Super Capacity Plus dryer automatically detects the moisture level in the load and turns off when dry thanks to the AccelerCare™ drying system. To help save energy, this dryer is also equipped with the Resource Dryer™ dry cycle. Finally, complete a load with the Wrinkle Shield™ Plus option to help prevent wrinkles for up to 120 minutes.

Super Capacity Plus
Dry the largest loads you wash. With Super Capacity Plus, clothes have room to spread out, so they wrinkle less. Dry 25% larger loads than our smaller capacity dryers, without ironing.
AccelerCare™ Drying System
The AccelerCare™ drying system dries clothes as fast as the washer cleans them. Dry time = wash time (based upon loads up to 9 lbs.)
AccuDry™ Sensing System
Monitor remaining moisture and automatically stop the cycle when the load is dry, with the AccuDry™ sensor. Reduce overdrying and save time and effort, by not having to return to the dryer to re-check progress.

Good dryer with a couple of design flaws

Lint trap leaves trail of lint across top of dryer, necessitating cleaning the top after every load if I want to put clothes on top of it. Buzzer at the end of the cycle is a high pitched electronic beep easily confused with other appliances,devices,timers,toys and even car & truck beepers; buzzer is inaudible on the next floor if there is any ambient noise.

Pros:	Adjustable Temperature, Quiet, Faster than my old dryer, Lots of cycle options, Works Quickly

I can load this dryer with lots of jeans and towels at a normal temperature and they will be dry in 30 minutes. Fantastic! Love the wrinkle-free feature and the way it turns off as soon as the clothes are dry, before the cycle finishes.

Since we installed the Whirlpool Dryer our house has never been quieter. Dries quickly. It dries so quickly that it will dry a load in the same amount of time it takes to wash a load. No more waiting with wet cloths in the washer. We love it!!!!

Easy To Use, Excellent Features

This is a really nice dryer. I found the installation very simple to complete. Once I completed the installation, I noticed that it is a very quiet dryer, and that it works very quickly. It dries my clothes in about half the time that I am accustomed to with electric dryers. I also like the knobs. They have a very smooth operating switch mechanism that gives the machine a high-end feel. Overall, this is a very nice machine.

This product met my expectations. It's very similar to our previous dryer (a Whirlpool) in options and functions. I just hope it lasts as long (14 years!) My only issue with the new dryer is that the end of cycle alarm is not loud enough, even at the loudest setting.

I bought this for our condo association (3 unit buildling) and everyone loves it. It's fast, not particularly noisy (although it sits in the basement), and I could sleep on the inside of that dryer you can fit so much laundry in it.

Things dry so fast and so well and so quietly. Our old dryer made so much noise and lint all over the basement. The Whirlpool is not only quiet but efficient and doesn't make a mess.

This dry er replaced a ten year old whirlpool dryer hamper door. They are essentially the same. Nevertheless, this machine is quiet, powerfull and versatile. At @ $[...], I consider it a good value.

Gets the job done

Had the dryer for a few weeks now along with the matching washer (see that review). It gets the job done. The towel setting is fantastic. I would prefer it to operate quieter. The hum is a bit annoying. I don't know why all the dryer manufacturers place the rear vent in the most inconvenient spot. It always seems to be at an offset of only a couple inches from the wall opening. Not even a telescopic attachment will work.
