I needed a good machine at a low cost. Just wanted a basic machine.....no computerized
items or steam or anything else. So far this machine has fit the bill. Durability I don't know just purchased but its a basic machine
and my husband is handy once its off warranty.

Also got the dryer which is so far very good.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Even tho this is labeled an extra large capacity washer, it isn't. Tub is average sized but adequate for my purposes being a single retired male. No bleach or softner dispenser, so I add my bleach at the beginning of the wash cycle as the tub is filling and let the water dilute it before I add clothing. As for softner, I've switched to dryer sheets and they work just fine.I wanted a low cost, BASIC washer and I hope this will be it. Can't speak for it's durability as I've only had it for about 4 weeks. Price was great [...]
