Use the product for gaming and videos projected on a screen in our living room. Great sound quality from these hidden gems. Wanted small size and quality sound and these met those expectations. A little pricey and wish it had more power but it is probably the best compact speaker system I have ever used.

Use the speakers for classroom and public presentations. Some of my slides include audio and these speakers are powerful enough to fill a room without distortion. Works well for boosting sound with DVD's etc. Reproduction of classical music, folk, and jazz is excellent too. No problem with bass, since I want balance not boom. A tremendous improvement over built in computer speakers.

The mellow clear sound is difficult to have in two small speakers.However, this product,has the professioanl quality sound,in some degree. For this reason,I found it a good purchase,for the computer use. Well.......... Music should vibrate,has overtones,and many accustic treats.Also,the timbre of sound,and ringing soud,are the idioms of quality music.Unfortunately,the natural music sound can be produced only in the Concert Halls,in live performances. So,the technology is one thing,and the sound production another. These Bose speakers are good enough for one who works all day aroud at the computer desk. In spite of the minor cons, the pros of these speakers are remarkable.

I had no complaint with my previous computer speakers. They were fabulous for listening to music and movies, because they had a separate unit with a sub-woofer. These speakers sound just as good as the three speaker set we use on our other computer. Fantastic for music, video and more. Only complaint is the cord is a bit too short.

These are excellent sounding speakers. No need to go over board on more expensive speakers unless your building a home entertainment system.

Good price/performance. Wish I had more speakers to compare them too. My old ones came with the machine (very cheap). These sound way better. I stayed away from the ones with the additional subwoffer because I don't like overly dominate bass. So these work for me! I also purchased the Creative X-Fi Extreme Music audio card. The combo sounds great! I use them for listening to streaming music.
