The range doesn't fit all the way into the opening from the original range. A "llp" at the front prevents it from sliding all the way into a 30" opening, leaving a gap of about 2" between the wall and the rear of the range. This will make it necessary to have a notch cut from the corner of the counters at each side of the range or some sort of insert fabricated to cover the gap.

This is a fantastic improvement over our old stove. It not only looks better but the oven heats faster. You can also see how warm the oven is as it heats up which is useful for impatient chefs like me who might want to chuck the pizza in a little early. The large flat grates create a stable, useful work area for your pots and pans. The only slight drawback about the grates are that my wife finds them heavy to lift for cleaning. We are more heaters than cooks or chefs and we bought this to be functional which it seems to be exceeding our expectations.

Full grate coverage of the entire cooking surface allows for easy pan movement. The burners are evenly spaced and have a good size flame on the high settings. The controls turn counter-clockwise which feel awkward for a right handed person like me. The center display is nice and big and has many functions beyond what a casual cook can use. Clean up is an easy task as there are two grill pieces and the under lying surface is flat and a cinch to wipe up.

Very good design easy to work with, all the controls are at fingertip....the only problem is you must be careful when moving the iron grates it is very easy to scratch the top front of stove with grates which would be very difficult to repair.....aside from that very pleased with pruchase
