the best laundry product for bright and white clothes

I was having problems with soap build-up, so tried this. Gets clothes sparkling clean and soap rinses out thoroughly. I use 1/8 cup per large load, it's all you need. The high cost is off-set by what I was spending in water & power to rerinse clothes. Worth every penny, plus you only need to use 1/3-1/2 of recommended amount, so you can stretch your dollar that way.

Gets laundry super clean. Whites are extremely white and stains disappear. Costs alot but worth it becasue a little goes a long way.

This has to be the best laundry detergent I've used so far. It removes stains and keeps whites white over time. Leaves no residual odor in the clothing which means it rinses clean. I've tried other HE detergents and always come back to Persil. It's expensive up front, but so little is needed for a load that it ends up being more economical than others. My machine is Asko which babies clothing throgh 5 cycles and spins at the highest of 1600 RPM.

I'm new to HE/frontloading washing machine. I understand that one must use very little detergent. There is a chart on the back of the box which shows amount of detergent relative to soil level and hardness of water. It relies heavily on pictures. The picture looks like a typical "scoop" which was included in every box of Cheer I had ever bought. As far as I can tell, there is no scoop in the box. I looked up the hardness of my water and measured accordingly. There are always undissolved clumps of detergent on and under the rubber seal on the outside of the drum. I started to use one-half to one-third of the amount recommended and this happens less frequently. I am literally using about one to two (measuring) teaspoons of detergent. I have no idea if this is appropriate. My clothes seem clean but I haven't have any really grimy, dirty things to wash yet. I sent an email to the manufacturer through their website with legitimate questions about measuring and appropriate amounts to use. I have had no response. Since the box cost around [$] I will use until finished and then look for another option. I don't like Tide and I don't like liquid detergents so my options will be few and far between. I will not purchase this product again.

Great detergent. Expensive, but worth it.

We have hard water so the perls are harder to dissolve. I can't use a cold water wash with this product. I would try the liquid in future. All around though a good detergent; does it's job and economical. Laundry smells nice and fresh.

This detergent is the same that I used to find when living in Europe. It smells great and not over powering like the big name products. It also doesn't take much to wash a full load, so it stretches a long way. The initial cost is high, but the per wash cost is fair. It does an excellent job in washing and makes the colors bright again in some dull clothes.

Very good detergent! Gets out stains and my kids clothes are clean again! Well spend money!

Fantastic on stains, really whitens whites. Overall cleans brilliantly. Only downfall - pricey but worth it. A box can last a long time if you don't wash everyday.

This product might be expensive, but don't let price discourage you. I only use 2T per HE load (1T for small loads) and it suds perfectly and leaves my clothes squeaky clean. My whites definitely look brighter and the smell is a delight. Also, I did a lot of research on HE washers and this detergent (powders especially) are recommended for longer machine life. No need for any softner as all you really want is the smell of clean.

[...] Persil is best used with front end loaders that heat the water. It's expensive but is the ONLY detergent that really cleans your clothes. American Soaps do not touch it! Makes your colors bright and whites white. Last long so it comes to almost the same price as other detergents. Try it and you will NEVER use other soaps.

i grew up in germany and the smell reminds me of home :) i only use 3 tablespoons for a big load in my frontloader and it gets the grey film out of the whites

I love this stuff but they pulled the old "enlarge the box but decrease the weight" trick on me since the last time I purchased.

Very good product. I use it for many years for my Miele fron-loading machine.

Since I am German I am familiar with the product.I do not like to use Bleach.With my Miele Washer I only need to use a tablespoon for a full load.The Results are perfect clean white clothes and a good feeling wearing them.

My all times favorite for washing whites, indispensable for front loaders, specially European washers. Very concentrated, mildly scented, great washing power. Highly recommend.

I use less of this detergent, and my clothes are whiter and brighter and smell fresher than any other product I ever used.

It is clear that Persil does cost a bit much for detergent. But it does smell great and works on tough stains and dirt, with very little detergent. We bought a box and it lasted a few months for us and we are a household of 2 adults and 2 kids (under 3yo). If you are going to splurge on anything, at least make it on the clothes you wear and have to be in all day. Buy your cheaper det. for the other stuff you don't care for.

Very good german product

Persil Megaperls gets my white clothes unbelievably white and removes imposible stains. Because on the bleaching action, I would recomend Persil Megaperls Color to wash non-colorfast garments.

I wanted to try this product since it was recommended for my new frontloader. For a load of laundry with "regular" dirt i use 1 tbsp of detergent. For a load of whites i use every now and then 2 tbsp of detergent. After the first few washes i noticed my clothes did not have the layer/veil of gray on them. The colors are brighter and the whites are getting whiter. Since it is so powerful, a little goes a long way . It is very economical. This is the second time i bought this detergent and i can only recommend it.
