Almost perfect

Great sound and effective bass. Could have a longer wire for subwoofer placement. Not crazy about a touchpad on/off. My fan blew a paper on it and turned it on. Other than that it's great!

Great Speakers

This is the second set of Bose Companion III that I've had, the first being nearly three years ago. Then and now, they sound great, the best and most impressive computer speakers I've experiences anywhere. These speakers meet and exceed expectations.

These BOSE sound most excellent and I had some Klipsch PC speakers before that sounded good but the quality of construction was not good. They broke pre-maturely so I went with BOSE. REAL GOOD sound for the money.

I use this to support computer sound. The sound quality is excellent. The speaker size and versatility is truly great, but the subwoofer is very large and hard to place as it takes up a lot of space. The control lacks an on and off switch and the speaker cords are too short.

Awesome dynamic range when paired with MP-3 via desktop. Great sound quality at all volume levels, especially in an office setting where low volume often equals low fidelity. Fun to turn way up when you are the only one within earshot too!

Great Sound

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for a good speaker system for my computer and these Bose fit the bill. I heard them in my local store and the sound was great. With so much music available on the internet, I now use my computer for my sound system and these speakers fill the house with great sound. The sound that comes out of these tiny Bose speakers is amazing and the woofer, which creates natural base as opposed to some of the competitions fabricated base can rattle the windows if you want them too. I like being able to regulate the base, which some other systems don't offer.

It's hard to believe the sound that comes from these little speakers...Don't know if they're worth the [$]+ because you can get some pretty good speakers for less but i spent it and am loving them.

As soon as I received my Companion 3 speakers, I easily installed them. I like the small size and good sound quality. Someone really into music and superior sound quality would not be impressed, however, for my purposes I am extremely pleased. I would recommend these for anyone who needs a middle of the road type speaker system. I would buy these again.

Great product

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I use the product on my home TV instead of bothering with a stereo / surround sound. I plan on connecting it to my Windows Media Center PC, and the 1/8" jacks make that very simple. The construction and build quality is top notch--very impressive. The tiny speakers are great--well made, heavy steel stands, and decent sound for my purposes. Subwoofer tucks behind my AV cart and TV, but has alot of low bass. The volume knob is great, with a fantastic design, but in my situation I would love to be able to adjust the volume via remote control, which is not possible. If you are planning on using it for PC audio, it's definitely a fantastic choice. Probably a bit pricey, but a great non-surround audio system for a PC.
