Works like a Bamix

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I researched a long time and bought Kitchenaid and Cuisinart which had to be returned due to lack of speed. When the RPMS are not listed, it probably means low power. This guy has the same specs as a Bamix at half the cost, is light and comfortable to hold, LOTS of power with several speeds, not so tall as to be awkward like some, and is easy to clean. My main use is cottage cheese whipped with flaxoil. It's terrific.

I thought I was getting a 500 watt motor, but all they sell is 350. If you want the 500 watt, you have to get it from over-seas.

Great for making purees, soups and salad dressing. I have been unable to buy the attachments that were made for it. Lots of power in the turbo setting.

Super hand blender

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly powerful, this blender made quick work of butternut squash soup. No mess, like you get by blending batches in a food processor. It was fast and powerful and easy to clean.

Better than Braun

The Dualit is a great blender. Easy to hold, has an adjustable speed control and turbo button to control pulsing. Blends faster and smoother than a Braun I had that was hard to clean, less powerful, and stopped working. The lower part of the Dualit detaches easily and can go in the dishwasher. Altogether, the best immersion blender I've ever owned.

great little blender

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

We had a Braun 400 watt and loved it but they stopped making it in that wattage. The Dualit was the only hand blender we could find on the market that has the power to make our beloved frozen organic smoothies. It works great but the blade is rather small and does not work quite as well as the Braun did. Still, I think it's the best out there if you need power and don't want to keep burning out the motor.
