• Detergent Efficiency System
  The Bosch Detergent Efficiency System in the Axxis™ and Axxis+™ Washers contains laundry detergent within the active washing area of the system: the Eco-Ball rises and seals off the sump and stays in this position until the the drain cycle. Further, it prevents heavier detergent from settling into the bottom of the sump before it is dissolved. Therefore, the recommended dose of detergent is maintained in the system for better cleaning and "unused" detergent is kept from entering into our water ways.
  
• ENERGY STAR® Qualified

  The Bosch SENSOTRONIC PLUS package optimizes the wash process at every stage of the cycle. SENSOTRONIC technology senses load size, water level and temperature needs for superior results. Digital sensors care for all fabrics including wool, mohair and silk. This machine virtually operates at the touch of a button. The Dynamic Load Sensor ensures precise water levels for your wash load. Based on the size of the load and how much water your garments absorb, at predefined points during the initial fill stage, a pressure switch determines if more water is needed. This “auto load adjust” guarantees water conservation.
  • Temperature Sensor
    The digitally controlled Temperature Sensor is constantly monitoring the water temperature. It controls the internal heating element guaranteeing the precise water temperature throughout the entire cycle.
  • Suds Sensor
    The Suds Sensor assesses the degree of suds in the drum. In the event of excessive suds it automatically adds up to an additional 2 rinses to remove any remaining detergent from the load. The Suds Sensor ensures your clothing is completely rinsed and free of detergent residue.
  • Unbalance Sensor
    During the final spin of a cycle, the washer will monitor the positioning and balance of your wash load. If your load is out of balance, then the washer will stop and adjust the load up to 15 times reducing the spin speed to finish the cycle. This process is made possible by the motor synchronization system that measures irregular spinning (fast/slow) or vibration.

  With no abrasive agitator the Bosch Axxis™ and Axxis+™ washer designs incorporate a horizontally mounted drum that utilizes high efficiency tumbling action to gently lift and plunge the clothes through the water. Wash cycles range from the normal Regular/Cotton to the Intensive Power Wash for your toughest stains to the cradling action of Hand Washables. Throughout each cycle digital temperature sensors and controls ensure precision washing.

We needed a new compact washer for our condo and this fit the bill. It has a wide variety of settings that allows us to customize according to our needs. It is quiet enough to be in our living space and does a far better job than the top loader that came with the condo.

Uses less water and detergent with excellent results. The high velocity spin makes a high whining noise, but it going 1000 rpm's! Almost dries the clothes before the dryer can. VERY satisfied with the washer (and condensation dryer) I have them stacked; very space efficient.

When we uncrated it, we were surprised by its small overall size. My wife was hesitant to stuff it full, and thus was disappointed in its capacity. I stuffed it full, and didn't find a problem. I started using 1/3 the amount we used in our old machine, but eventually used 2/3, with good results. I believe there is less pilling of fleece items. It takes some adjustment to realize you can't add items once the door locks.
