BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install and convert to LP. I was all proud after setting it up; on the first try it cooked disappointingly. I was ready to complain about GE's $#%^$% but decided it must be user/installer error. The flames looked good but didn't kiss the bottom of the pans. After I got the regulator insert turned the right way for LP, it sears a steak like a champ and simmers gently.

Pros:	Heats Up Quickly, High Powered Burners, Easy to Clean, Large Surface Area, Precise Controls
Best Uses:	Searing, Sauteing

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I love this cooktop! I cook a lot and needed to have some power but also precision control in the burners and this cooktop delivers! I put it through the ringer everyday and I have not be dissatisfied.
