Worked great out of the box. Just slide the wireless card into the back of the receiver and presto...its on. One thing that threw me was a power outage that caused the amp to reboot. No documentation with the amp explained the problem. It was only later (right before putting it in the box and shipping it back) that I found that the receiver manual recommended to press the reset button AND THEN hold down the "Remain" button. This awkward procedure worked and I have been happy ever since.

Shiny black, sleek, wireless system. Wireless means wires side-to-side and no wires front to back. No controls, no tone, no volume and limited to matched & mediocre Samsung 310T theatre. Hey, it's better than just TV speakers - more immersion. I just wish it had more tone and volume control to offset the lack of same in related and matched equipment.

The only negative thing I have to say about the "wireless" receiver is that it is not truly wireless. There are wires that run to the speakers, which is misleading.

1. This was easy to set up: the transmitter plugged into the Samsung DVD/receiver and the receiver had outlets to plug the two rear speakers into it.
2. The receiver and speakers are about 20 feet from the TV/home theatre transmitter
3. Great for movies
4. Even better for football: the announcers come from front, but the sounds from the field and stadium come from behind you: It sounds like you are in the stadium.

We purchased a Samsung 5.1 Blu-ray Home Theater System. We didn't want to run wires to the rear speakers so we opted to purchase the remote amplifier. It was easy to set up and worked flawlessly out of the box. Turn it on, it finds the wireless signal, and you're good to go. Sound is great.
