Apple MA365LL/C Nike + iPod Sport Kit - MA365LLC

Transform your iPod nano into a personal workout coach with the Nike + iPod Sport Kit. This wireless sensor and receiver combination works exclusively with your Nike+ shoes and iPod nano to give you real-time feedback during workouts and let you track your performance on your Mac or PC.

Tune
Insert the wireless sensor inside the custom, built-in pocket beneath the insole of your Nike+ shoe, then plug the receiver into the Dock connector on your iPod nano.

Run
Now start your workout. As your run or walk, the sensor sends information to your iPod nano, tracking your time, distance, pace, and calories burned. If you choose, real-time, spoken feedback can even alert you to milestones throughout your workout.

Sync
Back at your computer, sync your iPod nano to transfer your workout data to iTunes and nikeplus.com. There, you can evaluate your performance history, set goals, and even challenge other runners to a virtual race.

The way I set it up, the kit now collect data from my runs and upload it automatically to nikeplus.com when I sync my ipod. Nikeplus.com does a good job of displaying my running data and goal tracking.

Great product! Realtime feedback while I'm jogging includes distance, time, rate and calories burned. Very encouraging since I'm just getting back into running again. Only complaint is with Itunes, the second time it didn't transmit my workout to [@]. Something I'll have to play around with, but I think it will figure itself out.

I gave this to my husband for Christmas along with his first ipod (yes I said first) He is a triathlete and trains for many hours at a time. So this was a shot in the dark as to see if he would like it and I hit the bulls eye. He has used it on every run so far since Christmas and wants to try it out on his mountain bike rides. He already has nice running shoes so I bought him a pod to hold the shoe chip and it works great. He can log his runs online and it creates a new way for him to track his training progress. He loves it.

The Nike plus ipod kit works well for tracking your runs/walks. I like the features that tell you how long/far you have gone. It already comes pre-calibrated for the average stride length, but I recommend doing your own calibration for your stride especially if you are shorter or taller than normal.

I use this new nike+ accessory every single day. I had signed up their website is now challenging other runners without meeting up to run with them. I can run on my own time and just upload the data to challenge others. This accessory is so light that I don't even feel them on me when I run. And believe me, all runners don't like to have things dangling when running. Very easy to use too.

This device is a blast! I love knowing how far I have run and how much farther I have to go to reach my goal distance. Being able to get an update on a run by pressing the center button on the iPod Nano is really helpful. I especially enjoy using the iPod+ Nano when traveling in unfamiliar place where I do not know distances. I use mine with a device that holds the sensor on my shoelaces, so that I do not need to buy the special Nike shoes.

I love it. Used in conjunction with iTunes, it syncs information to the Nike website and tracks all your stats, a great alternative to keeping a running log. I strapped it to my shoe and had to calibrate it to get results that were reasonably accurate.
