This RF extender works exactly as advertised for controlling up to 8 devices. I would have given it a 5 rating except for the fact that Logitech does not advertise that their RF Extender is limited to controlling 8 devices. For those few users like myself with more than 8 devices, Logitech suggests that you will need an additional RF Extender, which can be addressed separately in their software. I haven't yet received my second extender, so I haven't been able to determine whether Logitech's claim that using the additional extender to control the additional devices may be an "iffy" proposition. Guess I'm gambling that it will work as it appears I will be their "testbed" for such a configuration. It is easy to set up and works great otherwise for up to 8 devices.
