Superior to my old Miele dryer

A 45 minute timed dryer cycle with gentle or turbo options is great. My prior Miele dryer timed option was 15 minutes with no heat options. Clothes do not get as dry as I would like, even at extra dry setting.

This product works great. However, the first one I received was defective and didn't work at all. If not for that mishap, I would have given this a perfect rating. This appliance functions a little differently than its washing machine counterpart (W4840). When you open and close the dryer door, the lights stay on, even when you press and hold the "Stop" button. The lights DO go out eventually after several minutes of inactivity, so it's not a big deal. It serves as a nice night light as you leave the utility room with handfuls of dry clothes.

Completely Dead... Never worked!

This product never worked. I plugged it in. No lights. No sign of life. Sorry to rain on the luxury goods picnic, but high price doesn't necessarily translate into reliability or quality. I've had washing machines that cost half the price that worked just fine when I received them.
