The cooktop looks terrific with other Stainless steel and black appliances. Cooking on electric burners is different from gas, but these are pretty responsive to the controls. The safety lock is a plus if small children will be around. But the price is a bit hard to swallow!

Solid cooktop, versatile burners, but most important - the control lock, to keep little kids from playing with it and turning it on by accident

I cook daily. It shows the areas that are hot even when turned off. The only drawback is that it can't talk.

We had a JP347 before. We really love the larger dual element in the front of the P912B. The smooth black glass is easier to clean than I thought it would be. I am not sure I am impressed by the knobs for the price of the unit. Time will tell. Overall, I am enjoying the unit.
