I just ordered my second oven of this model today with trepidation and an extended warranty. We purchased this model from another retailer in March of 2011 without an extended warranty. It worked perfectly at first, and is the only one that fits in our small space. It stopped heating at all right after Thanksgiving, 2012. The magnetron, which costs around $140, needs to be replaced. Because the one-year warranty expired, we would have to pay for a repair call at a minimum of $80. The part and labor combined is about the same as the cost of a new microwave. This is why I cannot recommend this microwave to others at this point. (My previous microwave lasted over 25 years!) I hope I got a lemon the first time around; but if this new one has problems, I know Abt will live up to their promises based on previous purchases - so I'm not worried about repairs this time.

I was in the need of new microwave and range hood and this product covered both bases. I have always had good results with the GE products I own and this one is just as satisfying. Easy to install, easy to use and quite functional as well. There is no other store than ABT that I will buy major appliances from and it is well over 30 miles from my home. Service is unsurpassed, knowledgable staff and delivery is there when they say. Keep up the great work.
