BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I love the large capacity. Easily handles king size comforter. Quite efficient, uses less water and detergent than my old machine. There is a setting for use on wood floors that reduces the shaking during the spin cycle. Clothes are always clean and pretty dry when cycle is complete. It is a pleasure to do laundry. (I can't believe I just wrote that)
