Love this grill. I bought it for my husband for his birthday and it's been used consistently ever since. I was afraid it would be a complicated set-up but the grill came almost completely assembled and all we had to do was add accessories. The infrared rotisserie is fantastic; reduces cooking time significantly and the meat is perfectly seared and juicy. The only downside is that it is difficult to find good rotisserie directions and guidelines for cook times. This thing cranks out some heat and provides an excellent sear. Watch your temperature during indirect cooking; if you want a long, slow roast to tenderize a large tough piece of mean, be careful to keep a consistent temperature that doesn't get too hot.

We are glad to finally have one grill that does all like smoking, rotisserie and grilling plus side burner. The main difficulty we had was in hiring men to carry the 300 lb grill upstairs to our back porch.

Excellent Grill -- some minor issues

This is my first Weber Grill and I'm very impressed with the quality of the components [...] Everything about this grill high quality and heavy duty. There were some minor fit and finish type issues with my grill and I'm not sure if this was unique to mine or some of the quirks of launching a new model year grill. Nothing that either I or Weber customer service couldn't take care of.There are a few things to be prepared for when ordering this grill. It arrives boxed and on a custom pallet. It is packed very well to avoid shipping damage. It is very heavy and requires 3 people to get it off the pallet. This is Weber instructed and I found no way around this. Two people must lift the grill from each side and the third person must pull the pallet out from under the grill. It is somewhat ackward. Once off the pallet, it is not easy to move like last years Summit models. It lacks large wheels to roll across a lawn to get it to a patio. There are no good lift points on this grill and you must be careful not to bend the lower cabinet panels if you use a dolly.Once you get it settled on your patio however, it is a great grill. It heats very well. Cooks very evenly and does not flare-up. The smoker box works very well too. I haven't tried the rotisserie yet.Recommend buying the Weber cover. It's a high quality cover.
