I have had Jura-Capresso machines since the last Century. (sounds like a long time, doesn't it?). My wife and I like a Swiss style crema coffee. I do not like bitter coffee. I have tried many different coffees from around the world. I am very pleased with the Meinl. Nice crema, dry beans, good price, mild, great taste. Happy that I found ABT.

I was fortunate to live in Vienna, Austria for 4 years and when I tasted their famous Melange Cafe, I was absolutely enchanted by the flavor and aroma. I had traveled around the world and the best coffee you can ever drink is Julius Meinl. There are good Italian coffees but Julius Meinl is exquisite and simply the best. You have to try it. Colombian coffee is excellent as well but it is bitter than Julius Meinl so if you like a cup of coffee that not only helps you to wake up but you want to enjoy the taste, this is the one for you.

The Meinl brand of coffees are excellent.
This is a review of both the ground and bean JUBILAUM version.
I first discovered meinl on a trip to Switzerland in 2004. Unlike almost any blend you can buy over the counter here in the states. The beans are better than the ground option. About the best medium roast coffee I have tasted except for Dean & Deluca ethiopian/yirgacheffe/harrar, and a few italian espressos. The taste is smooth and rich in my opinion, just strong enough but not bitter.
