Enclosed cart with corresponding painted steel doors with stainless steel trim, stainless steel handles, and accent colored painted side and rear panels.
All grills have an accent-colored painted steel frame and a porcelain-enameled shroud with a centermounted thermometer and accent colored painted, cast aluminum end caps.
The cooking system, rated at 42,000 BTUs, includes 3 seamless stainless steel burners and an electronic Crossover® ignition system.
The cooking grates are 7mm diameter stainless steel rods.
The Flavorizer® bars are made of stainless steel.

Best Grill I Ever Owned

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Allow yourself ample time to assemble the grill. Take your time and read the directions carefully. If you do, you will have no problems whatsoever. Once assembled, the grill/ignition started on the first push of the button. The starter has not failed in two years of use. Not only is the grill good looking, it does a remarkable job of cooking. It has a large stainless steel cooking area that cooks evenly and is easy to clean. The three burners are individually controlled. I chose not to get the side burner as I seldom would have the need for it. Buy the Weber grill cover ([$], but sometimes on sale for[$]) for this Genesis. It has lasted two summers/winters and has no rips or tears yet. Much more durable than cheaper covers, plus it fits the grill perfectly.

I use the grill about once a week. Prior to purchasing, I had read some reviews indicating that stainless steel grates did not sear as well as cast iron grates. I am happy to report that this grill heats up the stainless grates so well that they produce a great sear on my steaks after 10 minutes of preheating.

One Fantastic Grill

Every thing went together just like it was supposed to, except for one bolt to the fire box. The instructions were fairly good except one had to read a couple of times sometimes to understand what that next step was. Based on the pictures and lack of written instructions I misrouted gas supply and I found it when I did a once over. Corrected BEFORE I started it for the first time. Great grilling.

This Weber seems to be built more solidly than my previous grill. It heats very evenly. I have used it often (even with the bad weather) and have had great results each time. I also love the exterior design...it looks great in my backyard!

An excellent grill

We have had our new Weber for about a month, using it several times. This was a replacement for an older Weber. The grill area is larger than the older one and it has much better heat distribution on the grill surface. It handles cooking for four to six easily. The cast aluminum grill surface is a big improvement from the enamel stamped steel surface that my old grill had. Cooking on this 310 is a dream! The one item which could be an problem if you are planning to move it around over rough ground is the wheels are small. If you are moving it around on a deck there should be no issue with this.

Great Looking/Great Performing Grill

Despite reading that the grill was a chore to put together, it ended up being a rather quick and easy task for one person. There were a few scratched parts, some in places visible after assembly (from the factory, not scratched by Abt), but otherwise everything was of top quality. The grill itself is fantastic. This is my first Weber and I'm glad I decided to take the leap from the short-life sub-$500 grills to the EP-310. The copper color is also a nice touch. The stainless grates quickly stain to a darker color, but are easy to clean and do a fantastic job. The grill cooks evenly and heats up hotter and quicker than my previous grills. Overall, I am very happy with this grill and the great price from Abt.

I used for beer can chicken, steaks, and fish so far and everything tasted great and cooking was simple. The Weber cookbook is a must. The grill preheats quickly and temerature is easy to regulate. It is light years better than the average home center grill. Well worth the extra money up front and cheaper in the long run.
