WOW The best TV for little money

Forget LCD. This plasma has the sharpness and natural colors you love every time you turn it on. Remote is very user friendly. Sound is not matching the picture quality but is overall acceptable. The speakers project to the rear. For DVDs it is best to have a good audio system hooked up. Plenty of connector options incl. 2 HDMI and PC composite. TV draws about a whopping 700 watts of power. 5 stars for picture quality and user friendlyness, 3 stars for sound.

Like night and day! I own a 46" Sony HD tv and it does'nt measure up to this new 50" plasma TV. The clarity is so much better and easy to set up even for the technically callenged. It was worth the couple hundred dollars more [...] If you're looking to up grade then this is the set to upgrade to. thans again Abt.

I debated long and hard plasma vs LCD but am extremely pleased I went with plasma. The plasma has a liquid transparency that makes the scene as close to the view out my window as possible. (Are windows 1080p?) There are no overdriven colors as LCD sometimes appears. This is almost a pefect picture when viewing 1080i cable and when viewing 1080p from my blu-ray: outstanding. No second guessing here. Also no glare factor even though it is in a room with five windows.

This Plasma is awesome. I think it's even better then the Pioneer. Acurate color points. 1080P in 50 inches is breathtaking. HD Directv broadcasts are excellent, and Blueray DVD is stunning. No buyer remorse here. Best purchase I have made in years. Thanks [...] for great service.
