BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is a beautiful stove that works just as described. I love the controls being up front, much safer than reaching across the cooktop to use. Easy to clean. I previously had a stove with a white glass top and it was easy to keep clean, and no nicks after 12 years of use. At first I was disappointed because the black glass top looked smeary and streaked after washing and drying it with a clean cloth. Then I discovered that wiping it with a paper towel moistened with Windex left it sparkling clean with no streaks, even under bright light. So easy --- I wish the glass top was indented a little to catch any big spills that may happen. It is flat like an electric stove, with grates added.

Very pleased, great product

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Well made product, very substantial. Cooking controls were the best of all the ranges I looked at, I was going to buy a KitchenAid until I saw this one, the angled control panel made it far easier to set baking settings. The PRECISE BURNER is exactly what the brochure states, you can get a flame so small you can barely see it which is great for sauces that cant burn,etc. Oven heated up in 9 minutes, ready to bake. If you bake with the convection feature it automatically adjusted the temp setting I had programmed to compensate for convection cooking. Lastly, it was well packed, installed easily ( its heavy, you will need help handling it)and I couldn't be happier with it. The black glass top below the burners looks really cool too-

I absolutely love this range. There is nothing bad I can say about it. It is just a dream to cook with. The only problem is to make the black glass top look sparkling clean. I have a Kitchenaid range with glass top in white and it seems much easier to make the white top look sparkling clean.
