I have used several of these units, they are the best I have found. Only (minor) issue is that big and heavy CRT TVs can feel slightly unstable on top of this unit. I highly recommend this unit.

Called the manufacturer to get help with assembly because it didn't come as shown in the directions and I am mechanically impaired. They said they would consult an engineer and get back to me. They didn't. I got my brother-in-law to put it together. He had no trouble and helped me put it on my dresser. I put the DVD in the shelf, TV on top...just what I was looking for to use in the bedroom and I can view the TV from any angle, matches the decor, and the price was more reasonable than any other I researched.

We really like this product. It holds our very old, heavy tv perfectly and swivels with ease. It has a nice shelf below to hold dvd player, satellite box, etc. It is stylish, practical, and easy to assemble. I would recommend this product to anyone.
