BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad product, under quality, only cheap Steam can't get out make rice become bad. Rice not enought warm, can't stay long. Don't buy

Panasonic Rice Cooker - SR-TEL18

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Product cooks white rice perfectly. No mess, very easy to clean compared to my old rice cooker. The only cons with this product is that there's no way to turn off the rice cooker unless you unplug the power cable. The cooker when plug-in, is either in cook mode or keep warm mode. For the price, it's still worth it to me.

Excellent rice cooker

I previously had a simpler model panasonic rice cooker. It still was working after over 20 years but I wanted a non stick interior. This product has worked very well for sushi rice, wild rice blend and brown and white basmati.
