i have a few cheap crockpots but it doesmt compare to this one. Even cooking, many features, quick start up.

I used this slow cooker one week after I got it to bake an Easter ham....All clad's slow cooker is very roomy and easily accommodated a 10lb ham. I used a simple recipe I found on line and received rave reviews!!!! This is a great addition to my other excellent All Clad products.

A Little Expensive but Worth It!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Love the convenience. Easily programmable. Lets you program a dish in 30-minute intervals at two heat settings, and automatically switch to "warm" when cooking is done. Has several useful features including insert handles and a clear lid. Provides a steady, slow heat that is ideal for breaking down the collagen in tough cuts of meat without overcooking them. It's easy to clean and the stainless-steel exterior looks sleek. Most visable settings display I have ever seen on a slow cooker.

I have used my cooker 2 times and I think the out come was average. I have yet to find a recipe that I desire.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I love this slow cooker. The capacity is large and while I am a person that does not like to have any appliances sitting on my counters (other than my Kitchenaid mixer and my Cuisinart coffee maker), I don't mind leaving this appliance out while it is in use. It looks very stylish. When not in use, I store it in my pantry and it fits very well on the shelf. The performance - it delivers! I almost got the cast iron version of this slow cooker, but it is not a problem for me to first have to brown the meat using a skillet and then transfer it to my slow cooker - especially since the All-Clad slow cooker with the cast iron insert is approx. $100 more.

Too Big!

It's great: but, we're only 2 people. Would prefer the same but in a 3-4 Qt. capacity... am a gourmet cook, so don't want a cheap brand.

Elegant and efficient

After reading many, many reviews, I asked for the All Clad for my birthday, what I consider a real gift: A labor-saving device that should turn inexpensive cuts of meat into tender, flavorful meals. This beautiful equipment replaced a ten-year-old Hamilton Beach slow cooker that was still serviceable but was an eyesore with plastic residue burned on the outer shell. I wish I had replaced it sooner. A feature that was a source of concern in many of the reviews is apparently not an issue with my All-Clad: The seal on the lid was good, as evidenced by the results I got. A whole turkey breast slow roasted with red onions, carrots, and Acorn squash produced succulent meat and crisp-tender carrots and onions with all of their flavor intact. The squash was infused with the spices. A pot roast with potatoes had the same superior results, with tender meat, vegetables retaining their flavor, and stock still in the pot (I'm used to it evaporating out). The timer alone justifies upgrading the cookware, as I don't have to worry if I'm away from the house. The styling of the machine reminds me of Italian design (high praise) and the functionality of precision engineering. Despite the heft of the large cooking liner, I highly recommend this slow cooker.

Great for someone who is gone most of the day and needs dinner ready when he/she gets home. I like that I can set the number of hours and when it is done it switches automatically to warm. I don't have to worry about over cooked meals.

Love this slow cooker. Because it has a large oval space, one is able to lay meat, veggies, etc inside and season them, and then add any sauces / mixtures you would like to cook them in. The seasonings remain on the food, instead of being drowned out by the sauce. Love the timer also.

I have used this slow cooker several times in the 3 weeks since purchase. The meals produced were excellent. This is the best slow cooker that I have yet to work with.
