Heading into ABT for the first time with a friend to look around I was amazed by the store. I went thinking I had already made up my mind about which new speakers I was buying. WRONG. Once I auditioned the DEF TECH Mytho ST my plans changed within in seconds. Such a different type of speaker. The powered low end really makes for an unreal warm sound. The best part is that you can adjust that to keep it more flat as well for your purists out there. I ended up buying a whole new 5.1 set up of Def Tech. My new favorite speakers company. In addition ABT is now my only destination for purchases for the house. What an awesome store and staff. Completely professional and I am blown away by how much they stock. Truly an asset to this area.

Excellent choice for either home theater or music listening. While the HT use is the best I've ever heard, I purchased these for music listening as the priority. Clear detailed sound that makes all music sound incredible - they can also handle the loud rock music too. They are sleek looking and don't overpower the room's view.

I connected the ST speakers to my Marantz surround receiver and the speakers work beautifully in providing the best possible sound from this moderate-power amp. Like most good speakers, these show any flaws in recording or component quality that I had not noticed on the previous speaker system, so the Def Tech ST's will be about the strongest link in the audio chain. The transparency & frequency balance are excellent, and if you want bass, you will have it in huge quantity if required. Very small footprint for such a big sounding speaker system
