After weeks of research and comparing all slide-in gas ranges w/ convection oven (and in white ONLY) I was impressed with the GE PGS975DEPWW. I had hoped that the KitchenAid equivalent was worthy of the "KA" name. I was VERY disappointed! This GE range IS "KA" quality so far!!

The BEST part of this range was purchasing it from ABT appliances. There customer service/sales dept (George Koryta) AND the delivery dept personnel (Lauren) were OUTSTANDING!! With this being an outta state purchase, (Texas) these folks were living up to their repuation since 1936. I can definitely see why they've been a success all these years with employees like them! It was a pleasure dealing with them -- and they priced matched!! All the way around, an excellent product and excellent company to deal with! I shall make it a point to always consider ABT for all future appliance purchases!

Have had this stove 3 weeks. So far, no major complaints. The power burner is awesome - really does boil quickly. The oven heats up in a jiffy and the convection works well. We've already done quite a bit of cooking, baking, roasting and broiling. Great performance. We cleaned the oven using the self-clean cycle and it performed as expected. However, our porcelain racks now stick - the manual indicates that this only happens to shiny ones, but that is not the case.
The only drawback is the small cooktop. Our kitchen couldn't fit anything bigger, to be fair. But if you try to use 4 pots or pans on there at once, it can be difficult. Two of them would have to be pretty small.
Overall, we like it a lot. It's a big improvement from the Kitchenaid range we had, which had lots of manufaturing defects. We'd recommend it.

My only problem is that the oven door doesn't seem to spring tightly closed. I'll sometimes notice the light on when I think I'd closed it fully.
I love how quickly the burners heat things, the offset placement of the burners, and the grate design.
