Definitive Technology Black ProCinema 600 Home Theater Speaker System - PROCIN600B

Definitive’s new ProCinema 600 System is our new entry-level 6-piece home theater system. Its surprisingly affordable price belies its remarkable sophistication. The ProCinema 600 System incorporates the same new technologies and advancements, including BDSS drivers, pure aluminum dome tweeters, planar medite passive radiators and a 250-watt SuperCube technology powered subwoofer, which have made the new ProCinema 1000 and 800 systems instant mega hits.

The satellites and center channel are available in high-gloss hand-rubbed piano gloss black (with matching black subwoofer) or gloss white. The satellites can be shelf-mounted with their unique tri-lobed base, wall-mounted using the built-in keyhole mount or optional pivot mount or stand-mounted with their optional floor stands. The center channels have an adjustable foot for shelf- mounting or can be wall-mounted using their built-in threaded inserts.

Sonically, the new ProCinema 600 System is a revelation in terms of achieving incredible sound at an affordable price. Their imaging
is absolutely boxless, spacious and three-dimensional while delivering pinpoint specificity and localization when called for. They are velvety smooth with a you-are-there presence which is unique at any price and unheard of in this price range. The 600 system is dynamic but capable of great subtlety so it excels equally with music or movies

These speakers sound great for their size! Small, Sleek design looks great in your room, but with big theater sound. I highly recommend the Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 600 system.

Nice open spacious sound and really nice for my small living room. Also, I love that they are white. Everything black is too heavy.

Very attractive excellent sounding speakers. The only complaint would be that the wire terminals are fairly deeply recessed and hard to reach. Using banana connectors with your speaker wire eliminates this issue.

Excellent compliment to my current setup

I was looking for something to compliment my current setup, until my full theater goes into production. I shopped around for about 2 months before I came to the Definitive Cinema600 package. The price and performance is just right. I used them to compliment my Klipsch (main front and center). However, I listened to Definitive package on its own and sounded great. The subwoofer is a real surprise, don't let the size fool you, there is plenty of deep, skin chilling bass to go around with the sub.

Good system

Good product with some good audio quality. Hooking up with separately bought wires was easy. Though tuning it to sound perfectly took a long long time. I spent more than 2 weeks just tuning it so that it sounded atleast comparable to other audio systems. I was on the verge of returning it , but was sure that I was not tuning it properly. Spent 2 weeks reading on forums and tuning it everyday and one day it just blew me away. Have been happy since then. I was looking for Kef2005, Klipsch and this one. But finally decided to go for Def tech since the reviews were good [...] Couldnt ask for more!

Cons:	Fine tuning takes time

This system is sweet!

While there are definitely better speakers available, you would be hard pressed to find anything this good for this little $$$. The wife acceptance factor is high with this system. I replaced a [$]M&K surround setup with this and have not regretted it at all. If you're looking for a smaller system, Def Tech is the way to go!
