The aperture in the middle of the back panel allows hiding wires well.[...] The design is good, but this durable, complex stand that comes with lots of (necessary) parts required lots of assembly time. [...]

This is an expandable stand. But if you have a TV over 51" you lose out on shelf space because the glass shelves are only 51" wide. Looked into purchasing wider shelves but they are not available. Doesn't fit many components.

Product is sleek and able to hide all cords well. Look very good and seems to be very stable with the TV on it. Stand is actually heavier than the TV.

This is a nice piece for a 61" DLP TV. It did save me a ton of space, as all my Nex-Gen Video Game systems fit in it, as awell as my DISH hardware, DVD player, and Surround Sound Receiver. It was, however, fairly difficult to assemble, as the instruction were incorrect on screw sizes and lettering. Also, I failed to realize I was assembling it upside down at first, which was on a hard wood floor; so it scratched the surface of it significantly. All in all, it's a good piece to have and a real space saver for DLP TV's.

Not enough shelf space for stereo components (too tall), but works great for the other stuff (thin).
