It was developed on the basis of what scientists call "Chaos Theory." This design makes it possible to distribute microwave energy with the most appropriate combination of regularity and irregularity.

I don't like that there isn't a light switch to turn on the light when you open the door to the oven. My older model had one. Penny wise and dollar foolish. Had I known this feature was removed I wouldn't have bought it.

We have had this for only a month but find it to be working very well. The only real flaw is the lack of the quick heat options that are common. To get a one minute heating you need to press 2 buttons. Once you are in the quick heating you cannot do add. Other systems with both 1-6 min quick heats and 30 sec adds are better. However, the heating has been very uniform and quick

We bought this one after our 3 year old set our old microwave on fire by trying to heat up her happy meal. We first went to [...] and got a GE. That one made noise so we returned it. After extensive searching and reading reviews, we decided to go with this one as it was the same size as our old one. This one heats up frozen dinners a lot more even than our old one. So far everything is good. Easy to use, easy to read the display. The only thing I don't like about it , is that the inside light only goes on when your cooking, so it makes it hard to clean. For those with kids, it has an easy lock to keep kids from starting it up. Great feature ;)

I use a microwave primarily to heat leftovers, cook frozen vegetables to go with a entree that I've prepared the conventional way or for popcorn. One of the things I really enjoy about this microwave is the delay timer. I want to heat something to go with a meal I'm preparing on the stove, ex bread or vegetables. I can put that item in the microwave on a timer for 2 or 3 minutes before heating starts. My item is ready when the rest of my meal is ready.

The previous Panasonic model I owned had a door handle. It opened easily and quickly. This model has done away with the handle and instead relies on a push button to release the door. It takes so much force on the release button to release the door that we had to put rubber pads beneath its four feet to hold the unit steady. Other than that, it is an excellent unit, something we have come to expect from Panasonic.

I was looking for the most powerful microwave available for the smallest size and this Panasonic was the "perfect fit" for my needs. I have always had good luck with Panasonic products and this micro did not let me down. I generally do not cook meats in a micro except for bacon and sausages, so I cannot give a review of this micros ability to cook raw meat. But I love cooking any kind of vegetable in it and of course it is grand for heating left-overs and TV dinners. The icing on the cake?--it is beautifully designed. My only regret is that it was not available with stainless steel interior.
