Great for single guy in his own place. Easy to use and understand. Great basic unit without all the bells and whistles.

I have had zero problems with a Hotpoint microwave at my last address (8 years) and the new one at my new home (3 years). It does exactly what I want and have had no issues with its function. The only thing I miss, is the older model had surface light settings and the new one's surface light has only one setting that is a little dim over the range.

Been in my house 12 years and this is my third GE microwave. I buy them because they are relatively inexpensive and it is simple to replace one. However, while I am always pleased with how they work, I hope this one will prove to have a longer life than 3-4 years.

My first unit lasted shortly longer than the warranty covered. I got another because it was so easy to use and priced right.

i bought this item because it matched my hotpoint gas stove (the stove had good reviews and was a consumer reports best buy). the price was great and like i said, it matched the stove. i later read this microwave didn't have the best reviews on CR but i haven't had any problems and am very happy with it. the reviews on this site seem to be more positive, which i was happy to see. i've had it for over a year with no issues. it cooks/re-heats well and is very large. it has some nice, simple features, aswell: you can hit 1-6, if you want it to go for 1-6 minutes, which is convenient. there's also a button to add 30 seconds. and another feature i like is that after it's done heating, it will beep every minute to remind you that you left something in the microwave, which is great for me, as i tend to forget things in the microwave. the only cons: i would say it's a little on the noisy side- nothing that bothers me much, especially when you typically use it for a few minutes but something you might want to know about, if you want to split hairs. also, the unit itself is a bit on the large side. it takes up a bit more space than you might expect but again, you can also put large items inside. and it's certainly better than taking up valuable counter space.

bought this unit as a replacement of an older GE microwave. Pros: the door latch on this model is really quiet Cons: the vent is loud

When I had my house build this was the microwave that was installed this was 14 years ago I have three girls and my wife and I all use the microwave. Microwave is one of the things we all use in the house and it was so simple for my girls to learn they pretty much grew up using this microwave thats why I just ordered my second one.

Bought this for a kitchen remodel. Wanted a small-ish over the range model. This seems a little large for this purpose. And the fan is really, really loud. If it weren't for the hassle, I'd return it. I'll keep it for a while then probably sell it and buy a better model, locally so I can return if necessary.

I love this microwave oven. It was a replacement but for the price it was the best thing going.

An ABT installer put it in, and he was great. Seamless.

This is a gorgeous little micro hood! The microwave keypad is super easy to use, the controls are intuitive, and the light is convenient. A great value for the price. Abt did my installation and they were excellent -- professional, helpful, and clean. I am so pleased with all aspects of my experience with them and especially with the micro hood. The hood is quieter than my last hood (without a micro) and the microwave on this little duo is powerful. Can't beat this deal -- truly.

For my needs, this microwave is perfect.

The design of the buttons seems low budget, but the actual use is very good. The auto reheat works very well, plus we like being able to just hit the '4' button to get 4:00 of cooking time.
