Great speakers for under $100

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have these speakers in a room that is approximately 10'x15' and they easily "fill" the space. There is no need for a sub as the bass on these is quite good. If you loooking for speakers under $100 it's hard to image you could find better speakers. While larger than most bookshelf speakers they produce a larger sound.

As mentioned in other evaluations, the speakers are larger than the bookshelf speakers you would expect, but they have BIG speaker sound. I need no others.

I have 2 pairs of these speakers which I use for full stereo. I have 2 of these speakers and 2 in the back for a surround sound like experience which is great for listening to music,movies,video games, tv shows on DVD,etc. A lot of the cds I own sound great this way you can hear vocals,guitar solos, bass solos or bass lines coming at you from all sides and it sounds real cool. I do use a subwoofer with these and the sound quality is excellent.I get great bass and treble when I use my equalizer option and the effect is wonderful. Highly recommended.
