Sony Wireless Radio Frequency Headphones, Model MDRRF925RK

No more fussing with messy wires. The MDR-RF925RK wireless headphones system gives you the freedom to travel up to 150 feet from your sound source while delivering stereo quality sound. This system includes Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, 900MHz RF wireless transmission and headphones with a 40mm driver for deep bass. An auto tuning feature conveniently scans up and down the band to automatically tune in channels. The MDR-RF925RK wireless headphones system enables an easy connection to a wide variety of sound sources.

Disappointed w noise; lack of durability

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay away from this one.I am a long-term customer of Abt's and I've been well-satisfied with all other products that I've bought from the store. Not this time.The sound from the wireless headphone is of a lower quality than the regular, low-cost wired headphones that I had been using. Until I bought these, I did not discover that the wireless headset occasionally emits a scratchy sound.Shortly after buying the headset, they stopped working altogether. When I called the store, I was told to bring them in and the store would replace them. I assumed that meant that they would be replaced that day. After driving some distance to the store, however, I was told that they would have to be sent to Sony. [...] On top of that, I am anticipating the same type scratchy sound. These weren't worth the money or the hassle.

Sony Wirelss Headphone

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought these to watch TV and listen to music while my wife sleeps. I spent up because music quality matters to me. These things are junk. Not worth the money. Only one side of the headphones actually works. And it sounds very "tinney".

These wireless headphones work & sound great. I use them with my TV while I am on my treadmill. ABT's current pricing,[...] & financing promotions sealed the deal. I am completely satisfied and I am not surprised by that.

I use this product to listen to my bedroom TV at night without disturbing the wife. The product is functional and solidly made. The headset itself is a bit large for relaxing in bed with but you get used to them.

Too much interference

Too much interference sounds like cordless phone when travel out of range, unusable. switched to tmr-if540r instead, much better sound but need direct line of sight for them to work.

THE SOUND QUALITY IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED FROM SONY. Also the cover for batteries would not stay on. Finally just had to tape on.
