I had second thoughts about taking delivery of this product after reading a lot of negative online reviews of other KitchenAid and Whirlpool models online. These had to do with noise, reliability, and unavailability of parts. We have had ours only a week and love it. It is quiet, energy efficient, easy to adjust temperature over a wide rage, and looks great. The crisper bins are sturdy and accessible. Frontal access to the water filter is a plus, as is its status light. [...] At [$], I regard this as a real bargain.
