Use it mostly for heating up left-overs. Does a decent job. As is true with almost every microwave, it's difficult to get even heating, even with the turntable going. Best bet is to cover food so that the steam internal to the containers helps warm things up more evenly.
Other than that, I like this microwave. My last GE microwave was still going after 13 years - let's hope this one last just as long!
