The washer cleans clothes well and uses much less water than my older washer did. The washer really spins and used to shake open the pedestal drawer (that the washer was installed on). However as soon as I put some detergent and other items in the pedestal drawer, this was no longer a problem.

I didn't know they made cyles that long.

I have owned various appliances and have never had any problems with Whirlpool items. My only complaint about this model (and it may be the new trend) is the length of the cycles. On the first load of whites I put in, I selected the "bright white" cycle and only found out after I turned it on that it took 2 hours. The sanitize cycle takes 3 hours. The normal cycle is 56 minutes, which is double the time of my old machine. Otherwise, I am very happy with the washer. The clothes get clean, the spin cycle gets out more water so the dying time is reduced and it is very quiet and energy efficient. The pros greatly exceed the cons.

So far, this machine works well.

This is a great washer. I bought the fullsize for our country home and this sport model for our city apartment. The only negative is the detergent/bleach/fabric softner loader. The bleach is very hard to pour in without splashing and making a mess. You run the risk of getting it on yourself and ruining what you are wearing. And it's not clear how to use powdered detergent with color-safe bleach. I do like the stacking feature which we did use. You need to buy the stacking bracket.
