I purchased this washer to replace a similar GE unit that died after 7 years of effective use. This model is laid out differently, with a very short upper area that is not arranged logically. Instead of vertical tines to hold dishes and cups there are inverted "W" shaped prongs that do not allow for as much capacity. Plus, because the upper area is not tall, wine glass do not fit. I wish I spent more time looking at this unit before purchasing it because of these short falls. On the plus side, it cleans very well, is very affordable, and is quiet.

Great job washing. Basic design does not get in the way regarding looks; it blends in fine. Not that loud at all.

Everyday washing and cleaning - par excellence. Seriously - I dont understand the premium charged by other dishwashers for fancier controls- when all they control are the basic pump, motor, valves and drains. This one does the job as well as any at a third of the price. Look no further. This one is it.
