This phone is particularly good for its price. I rectified the short handset cord by purchasing a longer one, but cannot rectify the poor Caller ID window. Besides the window being too small, it is also too dark (at the brightest setting). I also have a problem with the person I call hearing me on speaker. You literally have to be on top of the unit to be heard. The speaker should be relocated to the handset and not the base unit of the phone.
Other than that, it has all the features one would need and I absolutely recommend it as a good purchase. I also highly recommend purchasing it thru ABT because of their great customer service. No, I do not work for the company, own any of their stock, nor do I know anyone who does.

I needed a realiable answering system. This phone has it. Sound quality is also fantastic.
Lots of features, more than I'll ever need.
Highly recommend it. Can't beat the price either.

Great phone with answering system. Can be adjusted from 1 to 7 rings before the answering system kicks in. Ring volume could be louder.

Only dislike: the prerecorded computer voice is much worse than other Panasonic products I have owned.

The phone filled a specific niche in that I only needed a solution for one line, not two, four, etc. I bought this primarily for the conference call capability. I have not exercised all the features on the phione yet, but for those I have I'm pleased with the purchase.

I work from home 2-3 days a week, and am on conference calls 5-8 hours per day. I was tired of my cordless handsets running out of battery power, so i wanted a corded phone with a headset jack. It was the ONLY single line corded phone I found with a headset jack that was under $70. I often use the headset, but to my surprise have taken frequent advantage of the speaker phone. I can adjust the volume, and the sound quality is good. I believe the mic might be poor because other callers ask me to repeat myself when i use the speakerphone mic. The mute button is orange and easy to find. I do wish the display had a back light and that the display angle could be adjusted. Otherwise, am happy with the phone.
