I first bought a Miele S4210IA which is comparable in price only - it was a horrible vacuum. I decided since my mother owns an Electrolux (which she's had for more than 25 years and loves) that I would try it and return the Miele. I glad to report that it was a very good decision. The new Electrolux is great! It's very easy to use and not at all over-engineered like the Miele.
