Features:

  • Digital Programmable Menu Settings
    Allow you to adjust start time, auto shut-off and clock. You can adjust temperature of the coffee and water hardness. Plus, there are five settings for coffee strength: extra-mild, mild, regular, strong, and extra strong. Three buttons allow you to easily choose the size of cup you want: “ristretto” (small), “espresso” (medium) and large (American coffee). The three settings can be customized to your preferred taste.
  • Patented Single Touch Cappuccino And Latte
    The system includes a 25 oz. milk container, two detachable lids, one for frothed milk for cappuccino and the other for steamed milk for latte. It also includes a unique automatic cleaning function with the easy push of a button. Plus, the entire container is detachable, so it can easily be placed in the refrigerator. All parts are dishwasher-safe. Place the cup under the nozzle and press the button. You’ll get a perfect cappuccino or latte every time! Amounts of frothed / steamed milk and coffee are adjustable.

    Fresh ground, every time. What you grind is what you brew. While some espresso machines will grind beans and distribute them to a holding tube for brewing later, Magnifica grinds the beans mere seconds before use, and immediately brews them. The compact and patented Direct-to-Brew System with Thermoblock technology also provides excellent heat distribution, which is essential in brewing authentic espresso. This product is very easy to operate, clean and make great espress and cappuccino coffee! I really love the milk container! No hands on for milk frothing needed for perfect cup of cappuccino.

Cons: Small water container
After visiting portugal last year, and having espresso in the cafeteria every morning at the 'touch of a button' we knew we had to get the same back home!. Although this machine is more than $1000 it has ability to make 3 different size espressos, a cappucino or latte coffee, or hot water all at the touch of 1 button with minimal fussing. If you're like me, you don't want to be fiddling around packing coffee, cleaning, wiping milk spouts etc for all your guests, what you need is a push button simple coffee machine and this does the job nicely. Pluses for me are the fact that there is a push in milk container that you can keep in the fridge and pull out for cappucino and lattes and programmable buttons for all drinks to adjust the size of coffee and milk delivered. cons are the high cost and small water container that needs filling regularly if used for hot water.

I thought I'd write a review after owning it for two years. When spending this kind of money on a super automatic machine, I wanted to know how it worked over time. I love the ease of use and clean up. A bit noisier than the more expensive models, but then again, it's about half the price so I don't mind. I love the convenience of just clicking in the milk container and pressing one button to get a great drink. There is no down time either between making more than one drink. You should decalcify to keep it in top shape. I've owned it for 2 years and have yet to need service on it. Just keep it clean which is easy enough to do since it tells you....
